Can I use this oil for cooking?

No, Soulflower essential oils are not suggested to be ingested. Only use topically (diluted) or in a diffuser.

This product is for hair or face?

This essential oil can be applied both on face or hair. You can also use this in a diffuser to aromatize your surroundings.

Is this product steam-distilled or are chemicals used for extraction?

This pure and organic oil doesn’t contain added synthetic colour or fragrance or harmful chemicals like Hexane, Silicon or preservatives like Parabens. Extraction of Bergamot essential oil is done by coldpressing bergamot rinds. Even and smooth paste of bergamot rinds is stirred slowly with pressure on the surface of the paste. It helps the oil to get extracted and solid particles to get separated. The friction during the grinding process creates approx above 80° to 120°F heat that changes oil colour and nutritional value. Maintained temperature while the oil is pressed in makes it ‘coldpressed’ and superior to other market varieties.

Is this product animal testing free?

Soulflower products are not tested on animals and are ethically farmed from sustainable natural sources.

Can Bergamot Essential Oil be mixed with castor, olive, coconut and sesame oil combination?

Yes, but it’s better to use only one carrier oil either than add many. In case of having hair fall issue, mix Soulflower 3-4 drops Bergamot Essential Oil with 1 tablespoon Soulflower Castor Carrier Oil along with 3-4 drops Soulflower Rosemary Essential Oil. If u have dandruff or itchy scalp, then mix 3-4 drops each of Soulflower Tea Tree Essential Oil and Bergamot Essential Oil and add 1 tablespoon of Jojoba Carrier Oil. Evenly massage your scalp and leave overnight for faster and better results.

Do I have to store this oil bottle in the fridge?

No, all essential oils should be kept in a cabinet or drawer, out of bright sunlight and hot temperature. Essential oils are most effective when they are pure and potent.
